Glycolic Acid Peels

Moderate
Treatments
We now offer the new Diamond Tone and Microdermabrasion peel
(MegaPeel) that
can be utilized to treat skin similarly or more aggressively
than with glycolic peels.
The Diamond wand uses small diamond chips to gently exfoliate the skin. The MegaPeel involves spraying the skin with fine
crystals. The crystals blow away dead skin cells from
the skin, leaving the skin smooth and radiant. Since the treatment is
mechanical and doesn't involve acids, lasers, or chemicals,
it is for everyone, including pregnant and nursing
women. The session is quick, requires no anesthesia
and there is no prolonged redness. A microdermabrasion
can easily be fit into a busy work schedule.
A special aspect of the MegaPeel is that progressive
applications of crystals can penetrate deeper into the skin
layers. This enables a better more effective treatment
of wrinkles, uneven pigment, pores and acne. When combined with the
Biomedic Home Care program a long
lasting skin brilliance will be maintained.
Aggressive
Treatment
If your goal is near complete eradication of wrinkles,
maximum refreshening and tightening of the skin then perhaps
laser resurfacing is for you.
We offer both Carbon Dioxide and Erbium laser
resurfacing,
customized to your particular facial needs. These
procedures are almost surgical in nature and we generally
sedate patients during the one-hour procedure. Laser skin
resurfacing may be combined with other surgical procedures
such as face lifts or eyelid surgery. Recovery usually
requires one to two weeks out of work, but the results are
superb. We usually plan about a month of skin
preparation prior to the procedure to optimize skin
condition and healing.
